J. Nathan Kutz is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Christ's College, University of Cambridge, and a Visiting Professor at both The Alan Turing Institute and Imperial College London. Kutz is also the Director of the AI Institute in Dynamic Systems and has been a Professor of Applied Mathematics and Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Washington since 1998. Additionally, Kutz is a co-founder and Technical Consultant for Alchemai, specializing in machine learning and AI. Past academic appointments include a fellowship at Harvard University's Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies and a visiting professorship at Columbia University. Kutz holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University and completed a postdoc in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Princeton University.
