Jim Joyce

Jim Joyce is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Cache Lead at the University of Washington since July 2022. Prior roles include Lead Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton, Developer at Liberty IT Solutions, and Senior Software Developer at Sonic Healthcare USA. Jim also held significant positions at Aetna and Coventry Health Care, focusing on development consulting, mentoring, and web service solutions using InterSystems Cache and VB.NET. Early in their career, Jim worked at various companies, including National Systems, Lab Corps, Pasco Labs, and operated a self-employed service business. Jim holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Schoolcraft College.
