Renee Rosemary Hukkanen

Renee Rosemary Hukkanen currently serves as the Director of Pathology at Amgen since January 2022, with extensive experience in veterinary pathology and comparative medicine. In addition to this role, Renee has been an Affiliate Instructor at the University of Washington's Department of Comparative Medicine since July 2001, where responsibilities include collaborative research and expertise in toxicological pathology. Previous positions include Senior Principal Scientist at Eisai US, Attending Veterinarian and Veterinary Pathology Specialist at The Dow Chemical Company, and a Post-Doctoral Fellow focused on comparative medicine and pathology. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Comparative Medicine from the University of Washington and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois.
