Reenay Rogers

Associate Dean, College of Education at University of West Alabama

Reenay Rogers is the current Associate Dean of the College of Education at the University of West Alabama. Reenay has been in education for over 20 years. Reenay started their career as a science teacher at Hillcrest High School from 2007-2009. Reenay then transitioned to Holy Spirit Catholic High School where they taught science and managed student records and web accounts. Reenay also trained students and teachers in technology. In their current role, they are responsible for the overall management and operation of the College of Education. This includes supervising faculty and staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing the budget.

Reenay Rogers completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Instructional Technology at The University of Alabama. Reenay also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Secondary Education Comprehensive Science from the Universiy of Alabama.

They work with Robert Upchurch - VP, Administration & Human Resources, William Hill - Dean, College of Education, and Tina N. Jones - VP, Division of Economic & Workforce Development. Reenay Rogers reports to Ken Tucker, President.
