Brandy Barker

Chief Creative Officer & AVP, University Advancement at University of West Georgia

Brandy Barker currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at the University of West Georgia, where responsibilities also include faculty roles and oversight of creative services. Since September 2016, Brandy has been the Director at Air Air, an innovative artist residency utilizing commercial flights for artistic creation. Previous experience includes serving as Education Director and Teaching Artist at Atlanta Printmakers Studio Inc., where Brandy developed community-based educational programs and taught various printmaking techniques. Brandy held project management positions at Better Beans Branding and Scallions Childcare Company, focusing on brand development and marketing, among other duties. Additionally, Brandy was the Studio Manager at Spudnik Press Cooperative, managing special events and studio operations. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Art and Design with a focus on Museum Studies from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Printmaking from the University of West Georgia.
