Rahmel Cowen

Rahmel Cowen is an accomplished professional in higher education with extensive experience in student affairs and admissions. Since September 2017, Rahmel has served as the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of West Georgia, previously holding roles as Director of Strategic Initiatives for Student Affairs and Director of Graduate Student Services. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Admissions and Recruitment and Nursing Advising and Recruiting Manager at Auburn University at Montgomery from September 2015 to August 2017, and as an Admissions Counselor/Recruiter at Tuskegee University between June 2012 and August 2015. Rahmel holds a Master of Science in Higher Education/Student Affairs from The University of West Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
