Andrew Robinson is a former chief executive who has had a career in the military, local government and the charity sectors. As a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Andrew has specialised in reward policy. In this capacity he has helped a number of organisations restructure. Since 2000 Andrew has been a commissioned officer in the Royal Naval Reserve and has undertaken a variety of roles and operational deployments; between 2013 and 2017 he was the Naval Equerry to HRH Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO and the Commanding Officer of HMS KING ALFRED until 2021.
Andrew is the Vice-Chair of the University of Winchester, director of the Charity Support Foundation, and the director for governance of Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club and chair of its charitable trust.
Andrew graduated from Christ Church College, Kent University with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and Information Technology; a MSc in Financial Decision Analysis from Portsmouth University Business School and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership through the Defence College and Kings College London. In 2017 Andrew attended the Kaospilot Centre for Creative Leadership in Denmark.
