Judith Heneghan

Judith Heneghan is a seasoned educator and author, currently serving as Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Winchester since 2006. With a focus on teaching fiction and nonfiction, Judith has a particular interest in literary fiction, writing for young people, and creative nonfiction. Judith also leads multiple MA programs, including MA Creative Writing and MA Writing for Children and Young Adults. As an author, recent works include novels "SNEGURCHKA" and "BIRDEYE," published by Salt Publishing, along with a background in writing primarily for young readers. Previous experience includes roles as a Commissioning Editor at Hodder & Stoughton and as an Editorial Assistant at Scolar Press. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Creative Arts in Creative Writing, an MA in Writing for Children, and a BA in History from the University of Winchester and the University of York.
