Francesco Biondi

Francesco Biondi, Ph.D., currently serves as the University of Windsor Research Chair in Human Factors and Associate Professor at the University of Windsor, with a focus on enhancing knowledge through research, student supervision, and teaching. Biondi also works as a Human Factors Consultant for Red Rock Consulting, providing expertise in legal cases related to driver distraction and autonomous vehicle systems. Prior experience includes positions as an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah and as an HMI Researcher at Jaguar Land Rover and the University of Warwick, with a strong emphasis on designing user-friendly human-machine interfaces. Biondi earned a Ph.D. in Applied Cognitive Psychology and Human Factors from the Università degli Studi di Padova, where research focused on distracted driving and driver-ADAS interaction.
