Duane Cooper currently serves as the Associate Director of Academic and Career Development and the Associate Director of Employer Relations at Wisconsin Athletics since August 2022. Previously, Duane held various positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2006 to August 2022, including Director of Employer Development and Diversity Talent Development Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating two major career fairs and assisting with on-campus recruiting. Earlier experience includes serving as an Admissions Specialist at Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on the recruitment of undergraduate students for medical programs, and as an Administrative Assistant at Illinois State University, where organizational support was provided for Student Affairs. Duane earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Illinois State University, with studies conducted from 1989 to 1994, and completed additional coursework in Sociology at the same institution from 2004 to 2005.
