Barb/Barbara Bolens

Barb Bolens is an accomplished executive and educator with extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic leadership. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board since January 2024 and as the Director of the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since June 2023, Bolens leads initiatives aimed at mentoring MBA and undergraduate students. Previous roles include serving as Executive VP and Chief Strategy Officer at Enerpac Tool Group, Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Actuant Corporation, and Vice President & Treasurer at both Joy Global and Komatsu Mining Corp, showcasing expertise in global treasury strategy, corporate development, and investor relations. Bolens holds a BBA in Marketing from the Wisconsin School of Business and an MBA in Finance from the Lubar College of Business.
