Melanie Hebl

Melanie Hebl, APTD, serves as the Sustainability Research Collaboration Lead at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where responsibilities include planning and coordinating activities related to sustainability research studies within the Nelson Institute's Sustainability Research Hub. This role involves building interdisciplinary teams to address global environmental challenges and secure external funding. Prior experience includes roles as Training and Organizational Development Manager at the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, and Grant and Contract Specialist Senior at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Melanie also worked as a Grant Coordinator at the University of Georgia Extension and served as an Environmental Educator, teaching marine-based environmental education classes. Melanie holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biological Aspects of Conservation - Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
