Melissa Bahr

Melissa Bahr is a Neuroimaging Clinical Research Coordinator II at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, serving the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center since July 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as a Research Technologist at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Center for Tuberculosis Research from September 2020 to June 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Biology Tutor and Captain at Knox College's Center for Teaching and Learning and a KnoxCorps Associate at Harbor Light Hospice. Melissa also held positions as a Monogram Machine Operator at Lands' End and completed a Computational Biology REU Internship at Mississippi State University, focusing on population level transcriptomic analysis of the common sunflower. Early career roles include working as a Barista at Cobblestone Coffee House and as a Lifeguard and Swim Team Coach at Mineral Point Public Pool. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Knox College.
