Alan Symicek, PE, serves as the Chief Facilities Officer at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls since January 2012, overseeing campus facilities capital planning, facility engineering, and various management services including building maintenance and custodial operations. Prior roles include Interim Executive Director and Associate Director of Facilities Management at the same institution. Between 2009 and 2011, Alan Symicek was an Engineering Specialist Management (Project Manager) and Assistant Director of Facilities Planning and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Previous experience includes Senior Project Manager at Parsons Electric LLC, where significant projects included the electrical construction of TCF Bank Stadium and the Sprint Center Arena, as well as a Project Manager role at Faith Technologies, Inc., focusing on electrical systems. Alan Symicek began their career as a Construction Estimator at NSI Electrical Contractors and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
