Ty Letto

Ty Letto currently serves as the Veterans of Foreign Wars State Senior Vice Commander for the Department of Wisconsin since June 2024 and holds the position of Retired Emeritus Director at the University of Wisconsin System since July 2023. Prior experience includes a notable tenure as Assistant Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2007 to November 2024, specializing in Middleware Systems Technology, as well as leadership roles in IT management as Deputy Chief Information Officer and Associate Director at UW-Shared Services Information Technology and UW System from November 2018 to July 2020. Additionally, Ty Letto served as the Chief Paralegal Administrator for the Wisconsin Army National Guard from 1993 to 2008 and held roles in management information for the Division of Enterprise Technology and the State of Wisconsin's Department of Administration from 2000 to 2007. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University and multiple leadership development certificates from various programs.
