Josip Torić

Josip Torić currently serves as a Research Assistant at the University of Zadar since September 2025 and holds multiple leadership roles, including Vice President and Head Coach of the Croatian National Powerlifting Team with the Croatian Powerlifting Federation since February 2023, as well as President and Powerlifting Coach at Powerlifting klub Nabildani Mozak since February 2018. Additionally, Josip operates as a Powerlifting and fitness coach at Torić usluge since February 2024 and serves as Sports Director for STEM Games since October 2022. Josip's professional background in software development includes positions as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft and Software Engineer roles at Ericsson, Studion, and stack-wizard. Educational qualifications include ongoing PhD studies in Computer Science at FER and previous degrees in Computer Science at the Master's and Bachelor's levels, alongside certification as a Powerlifting coach from the Sports Academy.
