Christian Tackenberg

Christian Tackenberg serves as the Scientific Head of Division and leads the Translational Neurodegeneration Group at Universität Zürich since April 2010. Tackenberg is also a Group Leader and member of the Neuroscience Center Zurich (ZNZ), and previously held the positions of Junior Group Leader and Group Leader within ZNZ. Tackenberg's research experience includes a role as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Osnabrueck and a postdoctoral position at the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA). Tackenberg earned a Habilitation in Molecular Neurodegeneration from the University of Zurich, a Dr. rer. nat. in Biology from Universität Osnabrück, and a Diploma in Biology from the University of Hohenheim.
