Gabriele Siegert

Gabriele Siegert serves as Deputy President and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs at the University of Zurich since August 2016, also holding the position of President ad interim and previously serving as Vice President for Arts and Social Sciences. Gabriele has been a Full Professor of Media Economics & Management at the University of Zurich's Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research since October 2001. Previous academic roles include visiting professorships at IJK Hannover and the University of Jena, as well as a Senior Researcher and Teaching Associate at the University of Salzburg, and researcher roles at the University of Augsburg. Gabriele obtained a Dr.rer.pol. from the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and Social Sciences at the University of Augsburg, where a Dipl.oec. was also earned.
