Michael U. Braunschweig

Michael U. Braunschweig serves as a Visiting Research Scholar at the Institut für Biomedizinische Ethik und Medizingeschichte (IBME) at Universität Zürich since September 2023. Braunschweig has a diverse background in teaching and research, currently holding positions as a lecturer in medical ethics for first-year medical students and as a postdoctoral researcher specializing in reproductive autonomy, reproductive medicine ethics, family ethics, and genome editing. As an active participant in the Reformierte Kirche Zürich, Braunschweig fulfills roles including Vice President of the Church Council and President of the Regional Church Commission. Additionally, Braunschweig has extensive teaching experience in applied ethics at Universität Zürich and has completed several clinical assistantships in various specialties.
