Ramiro Dip

Ramiro Dip is a highly experienced professional in the fields of risk engineering, pharmacology, and toxicology. Currently serving as a Senior Risk Engineer and Vice President at Swiss Re since February 2015, Ramiro also holds the position of Privat Dozent at the University of Zurich, where teaching focuses on pharmacology and toxicology. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Novartis, where responsibilities encompassed drug safety in clinical trials, and as a Principal Investigator at the University of Zurich, pioneering research in molecular pharmacology. Ramiro's academic background includes a Dr. Med Vet in Environmental Toxicology and an MBA, alongside a PhD in Molecular Biology, demonstrating a strong foundation in both veterinary medicine and scientific research. Additionally, early career experience includes working as an Associate Veterinarian in Northern Ireland.
