Roger Keller

Roger Keller is a seasoned expert in landscape and ecosystem services, currently serving as the Project Leader at the Forum Landschaft, Alpen, Pärke (FoLAP) with the Akademie der Naturwissenschaften Schweiz since April 2025, while also holding the position of Senior Scientist at the University of Zurich since September 2011. Roger has a robust background in coordinating transdisciplinary research projects, including ValPar.CH, which examines the values of nature from ecological, societal, and economic perspectives. Roger's extensive academic journey includes a PhD in Geography from the University of Zurich and various roles in environmental research, including a Scientific Officer at the Bundesamt für Umwelt BAFU and a Sustainability Agent for UEFA EURO 2008. Additionally, Roger has undertaken independent consulting since July 2013 and participated in further education programs related to science communication and landscape services.
