Issam Adawi

Issam Adawi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and sectors. Issam has held various leadership roles, such as Acting Chief of Party, Director of Program Operations, and Country Representative. Issam has worked with organizations such as University Research Co., LLC (URC) & Center for Human Services (CHS), Save the Children International, and Center For Development Services, among others. Throughout their career, Issam has demonstrated expertise in areas such as social development, civil society, program management, and strategic leadership. Their work has involved collaboration with government agencies, donors, and international partners.

Issam Adawi completed a Medical Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicin, spanning from 1975 to 1981. Later, from 1989 to 1990, Adawi pursued a Diploma in International Social Development at the Coady International Institute. Additionally, Adawi obtained an M.Sc in Social Science - Medical Anthropology from the Faculty of Social Science, University of West London - Brunel, from 1992 to 1993.
