Sandy Mitchell currently serves as the President Elect of the University Risk Management & Insurance Association (URMIA) since September 2023. With extensive experience in the insurance sector, Sandy has been the Director of Insurance at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since March 2013, having previously held the position of Vice President and Client Executive at Marsh USA from January 2006 to March 2013. Earlier in the career, Sandy was the Manager of Global Insurance at The Gillette Company from February 1998 to December 2005. Sandy holds an MBA in Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Regis College.
