Adriana A. Chung has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Child Life Specialist at Bellevue Hospital Center until 2013. Adriana A. then joined the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, first as an Intake Specialist from January 2013 to May 2013, and then as a Social Worker from June 2013 to January 2014. Adriana went on to serve as a Program Coordinator at Columbia University Head Start from June 2013 to August 2014. From August 2014 to August 2015, they worked as a Parent-Child Counseling Practitioner at Inwood House.
In 2015, Adriana joined NYU Langone Medical Center as a Family Check-Up Interventionist, a role they held until August 2018. Concurrently, they became an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work in August 2018, a position they held until August 2021. During their time at the University of Pittsburgh, Adriana also served as a Family Coach from August 2018 onwards and as a Clinical Supervisor from January 2020 to September 2021.
In 2017, Adriana began working at the ASU REACH Institute as a Family Check-Up Trainer and Consultant, a role they held until May 2021. Adriana A. then joined Northwest Prevention Science Inc. as a Trainer/Consultant in June 2021. Adriana's most recent position is Director of Early Head Start at the University Settlement Society of New York, a role they started in September 2021.
Adriana A. Chung earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College during the period of 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they completed a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) specializing in Infant and Family Development and Early Intervention at Bank Street College of Education during the same time frame. In 2014, Adriana obtained a certification as a Certified Pre-K CLASS Observer, specializing in the Classroom Assessment Scoring System. Adriana A. is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
