Pei-Shuan Chiang, ATR-BC, LCAT has a diverse work experience in the field of art therapy and mental health. Starting in 2016, Chiang volunteered with the Children Are Us Foundation, where they worked with children and teenagers with Down syndrome, leading therapeutic activities to enhance their emotional expression and coping skills. In 2016 and 2017, Chiang served as a counselor intern with the Taiwan AIDS Foundation, focusing on AIDS prevention and treatment advocacy within LGBT populations. From 2018 to 2019, Chiang worked as a proctor at Long Island University, providing academic assistance to students with disabilities. In 2019, Chiang was an art therapy intern at Nassau University Medical Center, working with adult patients in the psychiatric unit to facilitate their expression of thoughts and feelings through art. Additionally,Chiang was also a writing tutor at Long Island University during this time, assisting students with organizing their writing assignments. In 2019, Chiang joined VIBS Family Violence & Rape Crisis Center as an art therapy graduate intern, working with domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors to support their safety, reduce trauma symptoms, and provide psych education for children. In 2020, Chiang worked as a recreation therapist at Bellhaven Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, utilizing art therapy to help individuals with mood disturbances and cognitive deficits express emotions and communicate their experiences. Since 2021, Chiang has been working at the University Settlement Society of New York as a mental health clinician, providing clinical interventions, screenings, assessments, and trauma-informed therapy to children and families within the Early Childhood Division and community partners. Chiang's diverse experience showcases their knowledge and expertise in art therapy, mental health, trauma, and working with diverse populations.
Pei-Shuan Chiang, ATR-BC, LCAT received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Counseling from the University of Taipei from 2013 to 2017. They then pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Art Therapy and Counseling from Long Island University from 2018 to 2020.

- In February 2022, they obtained a License of Creative Art Therapist from the New York State Education Department.
- They also became a Board Certified Art Therapist through the Art Therapy Credentials Board in February 2022.
