Barbara Rose DiGangi, LMSW has a diverse work experience. Barbara Rose is currently the Director of Community Wellness Initiatives at the University Settlement Society of New York, where they lead the development and integration of mental health and wellness initiatives. Barbara Rose also serves as the Founding Director and Social Impact Strategist for Families Thriving, a program that provides community care and mental health support.
In addition to their work at the University Settlement Society, Barbara has freelanced as a writer, branding, and marketing consultant, specializing in supporting small businesses and coaching female business owners. Barbara Rose also co-founded and served as the CEO of Project Bond, an organization focused on trauma-informed support for foster and adoptive families. Barbara Rose DiGangi, LMSW has an extensive education history. Barbara Rose obtained their Post-Masters Certificate in Executive Leadership from New York University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Masters degree in Social Work from New York University in 2010. In 2008, Barbara completed their Bachelors of Science degree with a double major in Human Services and Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College. Barbara Rose also participated in a Summer Study Abroad program at the University of Oxford in 2007.
In addition to their academic degrees, Barbara DiGangi has obtained several certifications. Barbara Rose holds a Collective Leadership Supervisor Certificate from The John Jay Institute, which they received in June 2021. Barbara Rose is also a Level 4 Group Triple P Provider, certified by Triple P International Pty Ltd, starting from January 2018. Previous to that, in December 2017, they became a Level 4 Triple P Accredited Provider, also accredited by Triple P International Pty Ltd. Lastly, Barbara DiGangi obtained their Licensed Master Social Worker credentials from the New York State Education Department in March 2012.
