Mayra Mantilla serves as the Assistant Director at the University Settlement Society of New York since September 2017, where responsibilities include recruiting staff, supervising office assistants and counselors, managing student recruitment and enrollment, and developing outreach strategies. Previously, Mayra was the Literacy Zone Coordinator, overseeing external program activities and maintaining partnerships, and worked as a Counselor in the Adult Literacy Program, providing support and guidance to students. Prior experience includes a role as Communications Analyst at Avon, managing internal communications and event logistics, and serving as a Public Relations Account Executive at MVG Communications, focusing on media relations and event coordination. Mayra earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from UNIVERSIDAD UTE between 2006 and 2010.
