Meng-Che Tsai, LMSW has extensive work experience in various social work positions. From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Licensed Social Worker at The Social Welfare and Philanthropic Association of Kaohsiung City, where they managed a caseload of approximately 100 adolescents from low-income families and implemented programs to support their education and personal skills improvement.

From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Social Work Intern at Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, where they conducted home visits, case management, and community outreach activities to promote reading skills among children.

In 2009, they worked as a Yeoman Seaman Apprentice at R.O.C. Naval Academy, and in 2010, they joined the Taichung Prison as a Social Work Intern, where they facilitated interpersonal relationship improvement groups for substance abusers.

From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Research Assistant at Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital, where they were responsible for data collection and test recruitment for research projects.

In 2017, they worked as a School Social Work Intern at Loudoun County Public Schools, conducting sociocultural assessments, co-facilitating a student support group, and assisting with a peer helper program.

Since 2018, they have been employed by the University Settlement Society of New York. Meng-Che initially worked as a Family Child Specialist, managing a caseload of families, conducting home visits, and coordinating parent/family involvement in conferences and activities. Meng-Che then served as the Interim Family Services Supervisor, overseeing a team of home visitors and family workers and providing guidance on parent-child relationships and cultural influences. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director of Family Services, where they supervise the work of the family service staff, develops individualized family plans, and oversees social work interns in their fieldwork.

Throughout their career, Meng-Che Tsai has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the well-being of families and individuals, and has developed expertise in child development, health, nutrition, social services, and parent involvement.

Meng-Che Tsai, LMSW, holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University, which was obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, Tsai completed a Bachelor of Social Work degree at Chung Shan Medical University from 2005 to 2009, specializing in Social Work. Additionally, Tsai has obtained several certifications, including a Seminar in Field Instruction Certificate from NYU Silver School of Social Work in October 2020. In February 2020, Tsai became a Licensed Master Social Worker through the New York State Education Department, and in May 2012, Tsai obtained a Licensed Social Worker certification from the Ministry of the Interior in Taiwan, R.O.C.
