Ronni Fisher recently retired after spending 38 years in Early Childhood programs at University Settlement, where she was an Assistant Executive Director and was in charge of all the programs for young children, the after-school programs, and the adult literacy program. During her tenure, she oversaw the creation of the nation’s first truly integrated childcare center, blending Head Start, Universal Pre-K, and City-funded daycare programs into one, unified program. Ms. Fisher has served on numerous boards and commissions shaping the City’s childcare initiatives.
