Lisa Thornton

Lisa Thornton is an experienced project and product manager currently leading the ARTSYS initiative at the University System of Maryland, where Lisa manages a collaborative team from 36 institutions. Previously, Lisa volunteered with the North Avenue Learning Initiative, supporting low-literacy adults in their educational pursuits. Lisa's extensive background at Coppin State University includes roles as Assistant Director of Admissions Technology Systems, Assistant Director of Admissions, and Admissions Counselor, focusing on technology management and team leadership within the Admissions Office. Lisa holds a Master of Science in Adult and Continuing Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Coppin State University.
