Ray Pantano

Ray Pantano has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Ray started their career in 1995 as a Sr. Professional Services Representative at MAMSI Health Plans, where they handled coordination of benefits, eligibility determination, provider relations, and customer service communications. Ray later became a Claims Examiner, processing medical claims for special consideration groups. In 1999, they were promoted to an Account Management Supervisor, overseeing account managers in two satellite offices and brokering comprehensive dental, life, and short-term disability products to existing accounts.

In 2004, Ray joined Health America Health Assurance as an Account Executive, responsible for sales of managed care products and partnering with brokerage firms. Ray also worked with potential clients to provide quotes and tailored healthcare solutions to meet their needs. Ray then joined Hartzell Insurance in 2005 as a Benefits Manager, where they sold multiple lines of insurance products and provided detailed cost and benefit analyses to clients.

From 2007 to 2010, Ray worked as an Associate at Gallagher Benefit Services, managing a small brokerage office and renewing group business with multiple carrier lines.

Ray is currently employed at Univest Insurance as a Sr. Account Manager / SBU Team Lead, supporting the sales staff with renewals and servicing a book of business ranging from 2 to 99 employees. Their responsibilities include handling enrollments, addressing claim and billing issues, and answering benefit-related questions.

Ray Pantano attended Montgomery College from 1989 to 1992, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Radio and Television. In the same year, 1989, they also obtained a Certificate in Recording Arts Technology/Technician from Omega Studios' School of Applied Recording Arts & Sciences.
