Unlikely Collaborators

Founded by creator, writer, philanthropist and entrepreneur Elizabeth Koch, Unlikely Collaborators is devoted to self-investigation through awareness of an individual’s Perception Box which is built from the material of your beliefs, and has the power to distort your reality and leave you feeling isolated, disconnected, and fearful. We’ll show you how to understand and work with your Perception Box—how to overcome the limiting beliefs that hold you back, expand the possibilities of perception, and invite in new ways of seeing and being seen. We create Unlikely Collaborations through: UNLIKELY IMPACT We support leaders and learners, communities and cohorts, committed to disarming societal and institutional Perception Box issues to collaborate in unlikely ways that further untangle Perception Box stories from within. UNLIKELY INVESTMENTS We invest in leaders who not only expand Perception Boxes but who unceasingly, unpretentiously seek to expand their own. While most of our investments have been at the early stages across areas like mental health and wellness, neurotechnology and psychedelic medicine, we’re open to all manner of unpredictable collaborations. UNLIKELY STORYTELLERS Our books, programs, and media embrace writers, creators, and audiences who push beyond stereotypes; celebrate stories that explore the white space between the lines of our lives, that ask more questions than give answers, and that rattle the walls of our Perception Boxes—expanding the boundaries of who we think we are, and what we think we know. UNLIKELY EXPERIENCES Our experiences use a process of self-investigation that encompasses principles and practices from eastern and western thought, meditation, psychology, and neuroscience—designed to expand your understanding of self, others, and the whole damned world. This process can be fun, torturous, hilarious, berserk—but never boring. When you take the time to truly investigate your Perception Box, you discover something shocking.
