Julie Smithson

Julie Smithson is a prominent leader in the 3D and XR industry, serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of MetaVRse since April 2016, where the mission focuses on unlocking the power of spatial computing for diverse applications such as marketing and education. Additionally, Smithson plays a vital advisory role at Immersive Tech Africa and XPRIZE, advocating for innovation and youth empowerment. As a co-founder of XR Women, Smithson promotes inclusivity within the XR community, while also contributing to various initiatives such as the XR Bootcamp and XR Ignite, aimed at fostering education and collaboration in the XR space.
