Gregorio Zimerman

Gregorio Zimerman is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in aerospace engineering, holding a BS degree from the University of Maryland. Currently serving as a Software Engineer III at Iridium since June 2024, Gregorio specializes in developing firmware for mobile satellite communications transceivers. Prior experience includes working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Metrea from February 2022 to December 2023, where Gregorio focused on developing low Earth orbit satellites, and as a Systems Engineer at Orbit Logic from July 2020 to November 2021, contributing to the automation of ground contact scheduling for NOAA’s satellite fleet. Additionally, Gregorio served as a Satellite Engineer at NOAA, sustaining and improving the ground system for the DSCOVR satellite from January 2019 to July 2020.
