Samantha Hillis

Samantha Hillis is an experienced educator currently serving as the 8th Grade History Teacher at Vista Charter Middle School since August 2015, where additional responsibilities include teaching Speech/Debate and leading the Leadership Club. Samantha has also been a Student Teacher at Arroyo Vista K-12 School since February 2014. Prior to this, Samantha worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher and Substitute Teacher with CUSD from February 2014 to June 2015. In addition to teaching, Samantha has experience in child care, providing respite and support for children with disabilities through United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County since June 2011, and has been a swim instructor for children aged 3 and up since June 2010. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in History from California State University, Fullerton, and studies at the University of Virginia and Wagner College.
