Matt Volpenhein

Matt Volpenhein has worked in various software engineering roles throughout their career. Matt started their career as a Co-Op at L-3 Communications Nova Engineering in 2005. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Mathematics Instructor at The Ohio State University, where they taught remedial Algebra I courses and served as a teaching assistant for Algebra II/Trigonometry courses.

In 2009, Volpenhein joined NuVu Software as a Software Engineer, where they developed web and desktop applications using C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, Access, and VBA. Matt remained with the company until 2013.

Afterwards, they worked as a Senior Application Developer at Definity Partners from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Volpenhein returned to Unlimited Systems as a Software Engineer and played a key role in creating next-generation financial management software for specialty healthcare practices, utilizing .NET Core, Kubernetes, and React in the Azure cloud. Matt remained with the company until 2019.

From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Paycor. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Unlimited Systems, where they started in September 2020.

From 2004 to 2008, Matt Volpenhein attended The Ohio State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
