Leo Toneff has worked in various roles since 2017. In that year, they were the Surveillance Team Lead at Forsvaret - Norwegian Armed Forces. In 2018, they were a Full Stack Developer at Schibsted Norge SMB / Mittanbud, where they built a service that allows small and medium sized companies to buy targeted advertising on some of Norway's largest websites, created a ETL system for importing and transforming advertisement data, and built a file processing module. In 2020, they were a Teknolog at Netlife Design, where they built and maintained various websites, applications and services. In 2021, they were a Full Stack Developer at Vev, where they built a Wordpress Gutenberg plugin, a pre-render API with Firebase, Express and Puppeteer, and a threat scanner to identify potentially malicious user-generated content. Finally, in 2022, they are currently the Lead Web Developer at Unloc. Prior to 2017, they were the Founder of Yello AS, where they created 11 sites in total.

Leo Toneff attended Elvebakken VGS from 2013 to 2016, where they studied Studiespesialisering med formgivningsfag. Leo has also obtained several certifications, including GCP Essentials and Google Kubernetes Engine Best Practices: Security from Qwiklabs in June 2019, HTML/CSS and JavaScript (Hard) from TestDome in September 2018, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL (Hard) from TestDome in April 2018, and Numerical Reasoning (Hard) from TestDome in April 2018.
