James Smith

James Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical drafting and management. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Drafter at UNM Hospital since September 2025, James is responsible for obtaining as-built data and drafting life safety drawings for construction projects. Prior to this role, James built and managed the technical support team at Aura from September 2019 to September 2025, collaborating closely with customer service teams. Experience at Concentrix as a Program Ready Trainer involved training new hires and addressing escalated issues. James also held the position of Store Manager at Subway, overseeing store operations, and worked as a BIM Modeler at Coupland-Moran Engineers, Inc., focusing on MEP design for commercial buildings.
