Tristan Fin is an experienced healthcare and technology professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Clinical Systems at UNM Hospitals since February 2011. In this role, Tristan focuses on making technology relevant to clinicians to enhance patient care. Prior to this position, Tristan held various roles in clinical informatics and nursing, including Senior Director Nursing Clinical Informatics and RN Supervisor in both Nursing Clinical Informatics and the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Tristan's earlier career includes software development and engineering positions at several companies, such as Thomson Elite and PNM Resources, where efforts included consulting on SF6 gas monitoring systems. Tristan holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Informatics from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, alongside degrees in Leadership in Healthcare Information Technology and Nursing, as well as a Bachelor's in Computer Science from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
