Tobias Edelmeier

Tobias Edelmeier has a diverse work experience spanning across several industries and roles. Tobias is currently serving as the Acting CFO at Unmapped Digital Mining since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at AlphaQ Venture Capital from March 2021. Before entering the financial sector, Tobias worked as a Music Producer at Noble-Touch starting from January 2018.

Tobias gained significant experience in the financial sector through their roles at UBS, Goldman Sachs, and Barclays Investment Bank. At UBS, they worked as part of the Global Portfolio Trading and Index Research team from November 2016 to August 2021. Before that, they served as an Associate at Goldman Sachs from October 2013 to October 2016. At Barclays Investment Bank, Tobias was involved in Institutional Sales - Equities from June 2011 to November 2013.

Tobias Edelmeier completed their education in a chronological order, starting with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business & Economics from Bergische Universität Wuppertal between 2006 and 2009. In 2005 and 2006, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business/Finance, both from the University of Birmingham. Following this, Tobias pursued a Part of their BSc Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Birmingham between 2008 and 2009.

Continuing their academic journey, Tobias completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance from ESCP Business School from 2009 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Tobias acquired a Certified Data Scientist designation from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education in February 2021.
