Joe McCray

Joe McCray is an experienced technology and security professional with a robust background in IT security consulting and product development. Currently serving as Product Team Lead at an unnamed company since June 2024, Joe is responsible for managing the development of a new suite of products. Previously, as General Manager at Salek X from May 2023 to June 2024, Joe managed teams across sales, marketing, development, and cyber security, while also establishing business programs and setting KPIs. Joe held the role of Chief Technology Officer at CyberME Studio from March 2020 to March 2023, focusing on app development, and at Secure Ninja from January 2014 to December 2019, where Joe enhanced IT security training offerings. As the Founder and CEO of Strategic Security, LLC, Joe provided comprehensive security assessments and consulting services. Joe also founded Learn Security Online and worked in various security positions at Rapid7, Extreme Networks, and Northrop Grumman, contributing to business development, compliance mapping, and intrusion detection system analysis throughout a successful career in the field.
