Sumanta Bhattacharya

Sumanta Bhattacharya has over 19 years of work experience in various roles related to data and analytics. Sumanta is currently serving as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at UNO Digital Bank since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Standard Chartered Bank for 18 years, holding several positions such as Managing Director, Head of Business Analytics, Head of Retail Analytics CoE, Head of Marketing Analytics for India & S Asia, Senior Manager of Risk Analytics, and Senior Manager of Business Intelligence. Sumanta also worked as a Business Analyst at GE Capital from August 2003 to July 2004.

Sumanta Bhattacharya completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College between 1994 and 1998. Sumanta also pursued a Master of Technology in Quality, Reliability & Operations Research from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, from 2001 to 2003.
