Ana Graovac is a seasoned professional in urban planning and development with nearly 25 years of experience at the crossroads of public sector leadership, civil society advocacy, and academic research. Having served as a Senior Urban Planner at the Urban Planning Institute of Belgrade for nearly two decades, Ana gained extensive insights into urban policymaking. Currently, as a Capacity Building Senior Officer with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), they design and implement methodologies for integrated territorial strategies, reinforcing EU Cohesion Policy through participatory approaches. Additionally, Ana co-founded New Planning Practice, focusing on democratic planning reforms, and contributes as an independent researcher at the University of Belgrade.
