Anna Gaarde

Anna Gaarde is a seasoned management and sustainability expert with extensive experience at UNOPS since July 2014, holding multiple roles that include Management Advisor and Management Specialist, focusing on enterprise risk management, internal controls, and change management. Key achievements include training over 3,500 colleagues in project management practices and securing Gold Certification in Sustainable Procurement. Prior to UNOPS, Anna worked at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where responsibilities included developing supplier engagement programs and conducting sustainability risk assessments. Anna's educational background includes a Master's degree in Human Rights and Journalism from Columbia University, an Executive MBA from Henley Business School, and multiple qualifications in Political Science and Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Copenhagen and Copenhagen Business School.
