Anne Devananda

Anne Devananda is a Communications Officer at UNOPS since February 2023, previously serving as a Programme Management Associate. Prior experience includes working as a Junior Counsel at the Chambers of Mr. Rajeev Amarasuriya from June 2018 to February 2023 and holding various roles within the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, including Co-convener of the Seminars Committee and Women Lawyers Committee from 2020 to March 2022. Anne also gained experience as a Legal Apprentice at the Attorney General's Department and as a Junior Event Coordination Executor at Citrus Events World Wide in 2013. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, an Attorney-at-Law qualification from Sri Lanka Law College, a Diploma in Fashion Designing from Northumbria University, and ongoing studies towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology at the Post Graduate Institute of Archaeology, University of Colombo.
