Deng David

Deng David is an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Associate at UNOPS, responsible for enhancing monitoring, learning, and accountability systems for the Safety Net for Socio-Economic Opportunities Project since September 2025. Previously, Deng co-founded and served as Country Director for Combat Hunger in South Sudan, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for programs focused on food security and poverty reduction. Prior roles at Catholic Relief Services included Roving Project Officer for Adult Literacy, Project Officer for MEAL, and MEAL Assistant, contributing to various project implementations and evaluations. Deng holds a Master's of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi, along with multiple degrees in Monitoring and Evaluation and a Bachelor's in Agricultural Economics from the University of Eldoret.
