Komal Karki is the Country Manager at UNOPS Nepal, with extensive experience in project management, contract management, and procurement. Previously, Karki worked as a Highway Engineer for the Department of Roads in Nepal from 1988 to 2007 and later served as a Road Engineer and Road Maintenance Specialist at the Asian Development Bank from 2007 to 2008. Karki contributed to project implementation at the Asian Development Bank's Nepal Resident Mission from 2008 to 2009 and held various roles at UNOPS from 2015 to 2021, including Acting Country Manager and Chief Technical Advisor. Karki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Roorkee and a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Pokhara Vishwavidalaya.
