Peter Onsongo

Peter Onsongo serves as the Head of Support Services at UNOPS since November 2007, managing support services for the Austria Multi-Country office and providing shared services for global programmes in climate change, energy, and water across various regions. Prior to this role, Peter held multiple finance and operations positions in different locations, including Kenya, Myanmar, and Denmark, where experience included Finance Manager, Regional Management and Oversight Advisor, and Head of Finance. From September 1994 to October 2007, Peter worked in various finance roles in international organizations, encompassing positions such as Finance Assistant and Regional Financial Analyst. Peter holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London and a CPAK in Accountancy from private study, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Kenyatta University.
