Sam Si Phong is an experienced professional in the field of public health, currently serving as a Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Officer at UNOPS since September 2020. Prior to this role, Sam held various positions at UNAIDS Myanmar, including Institutional Development Consultant and Liaison Officer for an ADB project, focusing on project management, capacity building, and financial management. Sam also worked at the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease as HIV Unit Manager and HIV Clinical and Program Coordinator, overseeing program management, HR management, and clinic operations. Sam began the career as a General Practitioner in own clinic. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Thammasat University and two Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from the University of Medicine 2, Yangon, and the University of Medicine, Magway.
