Tushar Dighe has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tushar began their career as an Assistant Technical Coordinator at Wagner College, where they managed and coordinated the school's computer center. Tushar then worked as a Systems Architect for Diamonds by Klure, where they built a custom Point of Sale application and managed a multi-site network of retail jewelry stores.

In 1994, Tushar co-founded Global Enterprises in India, where they served as the Director of Technical Services. Tushar developed and marketed a Business Management Software called 'Digital FA', which included modules for financial accounting, inventory management, sales and purchase management, production accounting, and multi-currency accounting.

In 2001, Tushar founded Internet Software Technologies Private Limited in India, where they served as the Managing Director. Their consultancy services included technology and business consultancy for software development companies, off-shore development liaison, and business and technical consultancy for software development start-ups.

Tushar joined UNOPS in 2006 and held various roles, including the Chief Information Officer, Director of the Business Innovation and Improvement Program, ICT Enterprise Reporting Lead, and ICT Advisor for Integrated Systems & Reporting Architecture. Tushar led initiatives to transform UNOPS operations with the launch of the 'oneUNOPS' system, designed a next-generation portal called the 'Management Workspace', and implemented open data initiatives.

Throughout their career, Tushar has demonstrated expertise in IT strategy, system architecture, project management, and business process improvement. Tushar has proven their ability to lead teams and drive innovation within organizations.

Tushar Dighe holds an MBA degree in Technology Management (Systems) and Finance from Osmania University, India, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a BA degree in History, Sociology, and English Literature from the same university in 1994. Tushar also holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Wagner College, NY, USA from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools, Prince2 Project Management Methodology Foundation, and USAID Administrative and Financial Compliance.
